iPhone 17 Series

Everyone is talking about the Air and Pro, but the regular iPhone 17 might actually be the winner this year.

Apple launched the iPhone 17 series this month, and this time it feels like a real step forward instead of just another small update.

The new iPhone Air is the big highlight. It is thin, light, and stylish, clearly meant for people who want a phone that looks and feels premium. That move also let Apple crank the Pro models in the other direction. For years the Pro line tried to be both premium and hardcore, but those users want very different things. Hardcore users care about battery life, cameras, and performance, even if it makes the phone heavier. Premium users mainly want a phone that feels good in the hand. By splitting Air and Pro, Apple finally made products that suit both groups properly. Air is the classy one, Pro is the beast.

The quiet winner for me, though, is the regular iPhone 17. It has slim bezels, the Pro display, solid cameras, and strong battery life. It feels like the most balanced phone in the lineup and I would recommend that for most people. I’m not due for an upgrade this year, but for the first time in a long while, I’d seriously consider the base model over the Pro, which says a lot about the regular iPhone 17.

Lastly, I have to mention the orange iPhone 17 Pro. Orange is my colour and this phone nails it perfectly. I said I might go for the regular iPhone 17 over the Pro, but this shade makes the Pro irresistible. My upgrade is due next year and I really hope Apple keeps orange in the lineup.
